10am to 12pm    Safe Space Training with Dr. Christopher Jorgenson & Kallie Friede

Safe Space training is a 2-hour comprehensive conversation focusing on LGBTQIA+ identities and experiences. Building upon a social justice foundation and through an intersectional lens, attendees of all knowledge levels can expect to engage queer intersectionality, vocabulary, history, contemporary legislative barriers, mental and physical health, as well as variable insights gleaned from the Participants will leave with actionable items with which to affect change their respective personal and professional lives.

12pm to 1pm Lunch will be provided

1pm to 4pm    Intro to Cupping with Jeffrey Montoya 

This workshop will explore the adjunctive modality of cupping as it relates to massage therapy. The history of cupping, type of instruments used for cupping and practical uses for cupping for self-care and as an adjunct to therapeutic massage and bodywork will be examined.                             

4pm to 5 pm    Trivia and Games with Heather Thom
